The First Time Cleaning Checklist

Our first-time clean can either be a deep clean (75 point checklist PLUS extras such as inside windows, walls, woodwork, etc) or extended basic clean (75 point checklist, but there’s more dust, more grime, more dirt to clean). If you are starting regular professional cleaning services, the first-time clean is more intense to prepare your home for a regular maintenance schedule: weekly, biweekly, monthly.

The first-time cleaning takes longer than one of our regularly scheduled cleanings (weekly, biweekly monthly), depending on the amount that our professionally trained maids need to clean. Our professionally trained maids use cleaning supplies and solutions only available to professionals when doing a deep clean. First Time Kitchen Cleaning:
▢ Cobwebs removed
▢ Refrigerator cleaned (top and front) including handles
▢ Stove clean and polished (top, front, hood & control panel)
▢ Microwave cleaned (inside and out)
▢ Cabinet fronts washed
▢ Small appliances (toaster, coffee maker, etc.) wiped
▢ Window sills cleaned, blinds dusted
▢ Light fixtures dusted / cleaned
▢ Switch plates cleaned
▢ Pictures dusted
▢ Sinks & fixtures scrubbed, rinsed, and polish chrome
▢ Countertops cleaned (all items moved)
▢ Backsplash cleaned (all items moved)
▢ Tables & chairs washed
▢ Patio door (inside & out)
▢ Dishwasher front clean & polish
▢ Trash emptied
▢ Baseboards washed
▢ Floor vacuumed or washed (getting all corners and edges)
First Time Living/Family Room Cleaning:
▢ Cobwebs removed
▢ Window sills cleaned, blinds dusted
▢ Light fixtures / Switch plates cleaned
▢ Shelves, mantel, etc. dusted
▢ Pictures dusted
▢ Furniture, lamps & lampshades dusted
▢ Upholstered furniture vacuumed
▢ Cushions and pillows fluffed and straightened

▢ Vacuum carpet/ Sweep and Wash floor
Office or Other First Time Cleaning:
▢ Cobwebs removed
▢ Window sills wiped or dusted

▢ Tables / Chairs wiped and dusted
▢ Mirrors / Pictures cleaned
▢ Furniture polished & vacuumed (if upholstered)
▢ Vacuum carpet / sweep or wash floor
First Time Bedrooms Cleaning:

▢ Beds made & linens changes when provided

First Time Bathroom Cleaning:

▢ Tub / shower cleaned, disinfected and rinsed

▢ Toilets disinfected (in/out) including base and behind
▢ Light fixtures and switch plates dusted / cleaned
▢ Mirrors / pictures cleaned
▢ Towel racks, toilet paper holders and shelves dusted
▢ Sink, counter tops, soap dish, and dry sink cleaned
▢ Clean knickknacks and items, put back neatly
